I use my tip jar to remind me that Im worth it! If I skip an indulgence I add the saving to my tip jar - surprising how fast that really adds up! Withdrawals are easy and I only use my tip money for splurge items that never make it into my budget. Last reward was a theater weekend in NYC.
This is a great app for saving money and encouraging yourself to do better.
Great for saving money, getting motivated, and staying positive. The tips add up quickly, and I love being deliberate and intentional with my savings. Other users are awesome, and the app team is innovative and responsive.

I like that I can save a few dollars at a time using this app. Out of sight out of mind, so my money stays safe from being spent cause I forget its there lol.
Since their latest update their bank transfers speeds have slowed way down. I let them know by sending them feedback in the app. Did this about 20 min ago. 10 min ago I got a personal response from a rep named Mike who looked into the situation and fixed everything! Im usually shocked if I get an automated response when I sent messages in apps. I was blown away I got a real person responding who fixed things within 10 min!

Some bad moments
They take 5% to.. tip themselves.. when you choose to deposit it back into your account. Not exactly a small amount of you plan to use it often. Seems nice and a good motivator but they are easily making money hand over fist with the 5% charge.
I thought I will earn a few cents from using this app but its NOT! After I linked my bank account and put up an amount that I want to receive, a day or two I see that the tip amount that I put was taken out from my account. This is just simply a waste of time. I just deleted this app and simply keep my money from my bank account.
The app kept quitting out on me right after I put in my information. Absolute waste of time.
I used this app for a few weeks. Eventually I got tired of it and deposited it back to my bank account. Except 20 cents were missing. Does this app skim off the top? If so, I wasnt made aware. Its only 20 cents of course. But is that okay?
Cant say enough about this new app! Its a fun and easy way to save a bit of money but the real fun and motivation comes from the Tip Yourself community members! The app is a wonderful tool to use for self improvement or to take time to notice your personal positive moments and to celebrate them by tipping yourself. Its a great surprise to realize youve been saving when you go to use some savings for a nice dinner and you realize you have an entire dinner out waiting there. The best par is, it was all saved in small tips to myself as I accomplished things. Pretty fun!
